"Il Trovatore - Scent of Provence in Tottubella"

A taste of Provence is to be found in Tottubella. The small agricultural village facing the Riviera del Corallo and its spectacular beaches, offers a Bed & Breakfast, which seems to be taken stright from the South of France. The owners' love for opera gives the name to the Trovatore, which is situated in a farm of 5 hectares that, with its fruit-trees seems a little bit of France. Teodora and Salvatore wanted to play with this theme and furnished the house in a French style with beds made of wrought iron, curtains and bedspreads with colored embroideries and ceramic typical of Provence. Breakfast is served in a big room with an open fireplace and veranda. Leaving here is difficult! Soon a wine cellar will be available for Sardinian wine tasting. Behind the house we plan a mini golf course. Shortly the swimming pool will be completed. If you come without a car, there is no problem: a mini-bus with 9 seats is avaible from the airport to the beach and for excursions. Sella & Mosca vineyard, the beaches of Alghero and Porto Conte are beautiful places to visit. Moreover you can visit the Baratz Lake and Neptune caves which are home to some seals. Tottubella is a quiet refuge, but if you prefer more lively evenings, Alghero with its discos, the square and the promenade for walks, is just 10 Km away. The Trovatore has been highly reccomended by the Sardinian Association for small businesses which promotes the best places for their welcome to tourists who want to discover the traditions and tastes of our island, in addition to sun & sea.
